FUT Hair Transplant surgery (strip surgery) involves removing a strip of hair from the back of the head. Once the strip is removed, individual follicular units are dissected, and those follicular units are used for the area(s) of the head that require coverage. Once the strip has been removed, the incision is then closed.<\/p>

As each of us has different skin tones and different healing characteristics, the amount of redness and the time the redness will be present on or around the scar, will vary from person to person.<\/p>

If an individual\u2019s skin tone is within the medium to dark range, typically, any lingering redness will be gone within a few weeks post surgery. Individuals with skin on the pale side,redness\u00a0 could take up to six months to fade, while others fade within a few weeks or so. Once again, the\u00a0healing characteristics of the individual typically dictate\u00a0how long any degree of redness will linger.
